sustainability and production
Since the start we have produced each garment in close cooperation with carefully selected manufacturers. Each chosen for their know-how and experience in the making of a specific fabric or garment, that matches what we have set out to produce.
Brixtol Textiles specializes in the making of outer-wear, we are fueled by an aspiration and focus to evolve this category. This strive has pushed us to constantly explore new and interesting materials, everything from waxed cotton and nylons to recycled wools and fabrics. A continuous exploration to make demanding garments that stand the test of time.

Made in england
With British aesthetics as our core inspiration we have been producing
our waxed products in birmingham england since the very first collection. 10 Years later we still work with the same family owned factory.

European Wool
Our ambition is to use as much recycled wool as possible. However this is not always possible since we don't want to compromise the quality and the life span of a product. In this case we always use 100% european wool. We mostly use portuguese and British wool.

Recycled Wool
We use recycled wool to the furthest extent. The recycled wool is derived
from old wool garments and acquire extensive manual labour such as
sorting by colour and composition, as well as picking off trims and labels. Occasionally the material does not live up to our desired finish. That is when we use One hundred percent European wool. Australia produces more than three quarters of the wolds best merino wool. By using European wool we skip the long freight and got ourselves an environmental win.

Recyled post consumer waste
By recycling old clothing and plastic products it is now possible to extract
the polyester and nylon fibers to make new fabrics. Among others we use fabrics made from recycled PET bottles, fishing nets and old clothes.

Organic Cotton
Since autumn/winter 2019 we use GOTS Certified Organic cotton in untreated twills and canvas.
